Lines and Shades

As a schoolboy I liked to paint, but was slow in execution and so got scant encouragement from my teachers. I let it be!

Many years later, I started again. Working first with an idea for a view of a desert that I had been mulling over for quite some time, and not realising the extent of the ambition, I somehow succeeded with the idea. And so, a new string was added to my bow.
